Bagaha : An armed squad of Chiutahan Forest Range led by Forester Vijay Prasad, acting on a tip off, on October 4, 2018, night, conducted raid in Kosil Sector 45 area and caught Prem Lal Kumar of village Sonabarsa red handed felling Sal tree. But, his three accomplices: Pramod Kumar, Dharam Yadav, and Chhote Chauhan of the same village under Chiutahan police outpost in Bagaha police district managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness. Chiutaha Forest Range officer Mahesh Mahto said that felled tree logs worth Rs 40,000 were seized and the arrested person was sent to Bagaha Sub -Jail on October 5.
