Maha jam like scene at Balthari Integrated check-post in Gopalganj

Gopalganj: A maha jam like situation has arisen for the past 38 hours as the server at Integrated Check-Post at Balthari under Kuchaikot police station has gone down. A large number of vehicles stuck at different places up to 20 km reaching alomost Tamkuhi Raj in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh. Four tourist buses of Sri Lanka are also stuck in maha jam causing great hardship to the passengers. These tourists of Sri Lanka are on their way to Bodh Gaya via Kesariya from Kushinagar.

Sources at the check- post said that the employees were having problems in clearing the documents of sales- tax as the server was down for the whole day on Tuesday. Though the cops tried hard to clear the jam, it was continuing till the filing of this report. Commercial Tax deputy Commissioner Prabhat Kumar said that the employees were facing  problems in clearing the papers.
