Lok Jagriti Prakritik Arogya Kendra holds Free Health Camp at Ara

Ara : Under the banner of Lok Jagriti Prakritik Arogya Kendra run by Lok Jagriti Ara, a day long Free Health Check Up camp was organised on October 13, 2019, to mark the World Arthritis Day. At least 150 patients were examined and were given Acupressure, Homeopathic, and Ayurvedic treatment.

Earlier, a Prabhat Pheri was also taken from Ara Sadar Hospital under the banner of Lok Jagriti Ara and Ayush College Hospital and Research Centre that passed through the main thoroughfares of the town and culminated at Hari Ji Ka Hata. Dr Binod Kumar, ACMO, Ara Sadar Hospital, and Dr Prateek flagged off the Prabhat Pheri. The Prabhat Pheri was taken out with a view to making the people of Arthritis and related diseases.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikas Kumar, Arti Srivastava, Nirmala Singh, and Manoj Kumar Gupta said that Arthritis and related diseases are common not only in elderly persons but in youngsters too due to wrong eating, living habits, parasites, water, air, and environmental pollution and lack of exercises. If attention is not given given in early stage of Arthritis, it may become crippling in the long run. The bones become weak owing to deficiency of Calcium, Vitamin D, Minerals, and Proteins, and ligaments and cartilage are damaged and mussels become weak. They said that Arthritis is permanently cured if treated in early stage and a patient can lead a painless life without medicine.
They stated that Arthritis can be suppressed with allopathic medicine but they may have adverse effect on human body and  can damage kidney and heart. They claimed that Arthritis can be cured permanently with Acupressure, Ayurved and Yoga only.

Extending vote of thanks, Secretary, Lok Jagriti Ara, Dr Rajiv Nayan Agrawal said that an Arthritis patient may lead painless life without medicine with change in his/ her daily routine, eating and living habits, increase intake of green vegetables, calcium, protein, minerals from natural resources and basking in the morning sun at least half an hour daily.
