Sitamarhi : Bihar CM and JD(U) National President Nitish Kumar while addressing an impressive gathering at Runnisaidpur Bazar in Sitamarhi district on April 29, 2019, to mobilise support for JD(U) nominee from Sitamarhi parliamentary constituency (PC) Sunil Kumar ‘Pintoo’, a former minister, said that the Lalu-Rabri regime had ruined the state.

“The husband-wife duo ruled the state for a long period but failed to develop it at all. Remember potholes on Bihar roads during Lalu-Rabri rule. We are still far behind in development spheres only due to them,” Nitish said and added that the potholes had vanished from the roads in his regime. The gathering roared in approval. Nitish said the RJD chief Lalu Prasad is in jail following court orders in fodder scam which was the result of huge financial irregularities.

Nitish said that no power on earth can abolish reservation for different sections in India. “Do not believe in the rumours being spread by the opposition parties in this regard. Those who do not know the ABC of the Constitution are posing as its custodian (Rakhawala). They should first read the Constitution thoroughly and only then issue any statement over the issue of reservation,” Nitish thundered.

The CM also alerted the minorities against the attempts being made by the opposition to create a fear psychosis among them. The NDA Government has done several good works for the welfare of minorities, Nitish said.
