Kunga holds discussion with Aurangabad officials

Patna: Divisional Commissioner, Magadh range, Lian Kunga late on Monday evening held a meeting with Aurangabad DM Kawal Tanuj, SP Satyaprakash, SDMs and representatives of political parties on Aurangabad  collectorate premises to review the progress of preparation of electoral roll. Kunga directed the officials concerned to prepare the electoral list before Graduate constituency elections. He said that the guidelines of the Election Commission should be followed strictly.

Sources said that Kunga also directed block development officers (BDOs) and officers at booth level to keep an eye on  the electoral list as the editing works are going on. He also directed the officials to see that name of a voter is not included in the list of two separate constituencies. Kunga also directed the officials to ensure the names of dead persons do not appear in the electoral list. He also directed Aurangabad DM to take stern action against officials  found lax in duty.
