Patna: Aurangabad Police arrested a naxalite Suryadeo Yadav, who evading arrest in connection with triggering a blast near Khadiha Canal and attack on cellphone tower of a private cellphone company under Deo police station. Aurangabad SP Satyaprakash said that the arrest followed a tip off. He said that a police team led by Deo police station SHO Pramod Kumar carried out raid at Anandpura Road and arrested Suryadeo.
SP Satyaprakash said that Suryadeo told police that he was close to top naxal leaders including Prasad Ji. The SP said that raids were carried out on the revelations made by Suryadeo. Police sources said a para-military jawan was killed while two others had sustained injuries in the blast at Khadiha Canal.
