Kidnapped Saharsa college girl recovered in Gurgaon, kidnapper held

Saharsa :  Saharsa police recovered a kidnapped BA Part II student of Ramesh Jha Mahaila Mahavidyalaya, Saharsa, Shilpi, from Gurgaon, Haryana, and also arrested the kidnapper Avinash Kumar Chaudhary on May 10, 2017. A Saharsa police team led by case IO Jitendra Pandey had gone to Gurgaon to recover the girl.

IO Jitendra Pandey on May 13, 2013, said that both the girl and Avinash were found at Hansraj colony under Palam Bihar police station, Gurgaon, and were brought over to Saharsa. Avinash was produced before a Saharsa court on May 13, he said. The court asked police to get the medical examination of Avinash done and produce him before it on May 14.

Shilpi would also be produced before the court for recording her statement after her medical examination. She was kidnapped on April 10, 2017, from Marufganj colony, Saharsa, when she was going to market to purchase notebook. Her father Parmeshwar Tiwary had lodged an FIR with Sadar police station, Saharsa, on April 11 and accusing Avinash Chaudhary, Basant Sah, Rahul Gupta, Krishna Chaudhary and Julie Devi ofkidnapping his daughter. Parmeshwar Tiwary had alleged that Avinash used to tease his daughter on way to her college and when he complained about his conduct to his family members they started abusing him .
