Patna: Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal visited Takht Sri Harmandir Saheb Ji on January 2, 2017, to pay obeisance to the Sikh Guru.

Kejriwal landed in Patna around 2 pm and reached Patna City straightaway from there. After reaching Harmandir Ji sahib premises, he put safa on his head  and then bowed before sanctum sanctorum. He was given saropa by the committee members. After that he visited Baal Lila Gurudwara and offered his services in langar there. He said that he had come here to seek the blessings of Guru Govind Saheb Ji. “I prayed for the prosperity and peace in the country,” he said.

Earlier on January 1, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar had also reached Gandhi Maidan and offered his  services in langar. He is himself monitoring all the activities and has visited Harmandir Saheb Ji and Tent City several times to review the preparations for Prakashotav. It may be mentioned here that PM Narendra Modi is also to reach Patna on January 5.
