Keys, the 2017 US Open Finalist, won 7 break points in the match to 5 by Kvitová, the 5th seed. She also won 7 games in a row in the match to 3 by Kvitová. The Czech committed 4 double faults to 1 by Keys. The American won 53 service points to 40 by Kvitová.
