PM Modi condoles loss of lives due to road accident in Kannauj, UP

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on January 11, 2020, condoled the loss of lives due to a road accident in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh.

“उत्तर प्रदेश के कन्नौज में हुए भीषण सड़क हादसे के बारे में जानकर अत्यंत दुख पहुंचा है। इस दुर्घटना में कई लोगों को अपनी जान गंवानी पड़ी है। मैं मृतकों के परिजनों के प्रति अपनी संवेदनाएं प्रकट करता हूं, साथ ही घायलों के शीघ्र स्वस्थ होने की कामना करता हूं,“  Prime Minister said, according to a PIB release.

Twenty persons were feared charred to death after a bus carrying 46 passengers caught fire in a head on collision with a truck at a village in Kannauj District in Uttar Pradesh on January 10, 2020, evening. The Bus was going to Jaipur, Rajasthan. Twenty-one passengers were rescued.
