Ara : Jharkhand police took notorious criminal Nand Kishor Singh alias Babloo Singh alias Mama to Dhanbad on August 7, 2018, evening after getting permission from a medical team of Sadar Hospital, Ara.
Dhanbad police reached Ara on August 6, 2018, with the production warrant but Nand Kishor Singh complained of pain in his chest at Ara jail and was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital in the evening on August 6. On August 7, Deputy Superintendent, Sadar Hospital, Dr Satish Kumar Sinha formed a medical board comprising Dr K S Choubey, Dr M H Ansari, and Dr Ashutosh Kumar for his medical examination. The medical team found Nand Kishor Singh healthy and relieved him from the hospital. Later, Jharkhand police took him to Dhanbad.
Bhojpur SP Awakash Kumar said that police arrested Nand Kishor Singh alias Babloo Singh alias Mama from his native village Berath under Chauri police station when he was going to drop his children to a private school at the village on August 2, 2018. He said that the Jhankhand police was searching for him in connection with the murder of Ranjay Singh, a close associate of an MLA in Jharia in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, on January 29, 2017. He was absconding and kept changing his hideouts with different names. He is said to be a cook of late Neeraj Singh, cousin of Sanjeev Singh, MLA.
Nand Kishor Singh was also named accused in case of attack on police force at village Bhakura under Ara Muffassil police station when the Dhanbad police with their Bhojpur counterpart went there to arrest him when he was attending a marriage ceremony on May 1, 2018.
