Hajipur : A jeweller Arvind Kumar, about 30, was shot dead by unidentified criminals at 8.30 pm on April 27, 2017, near Patepur market under Patepur police station in Vaishali district. A senior police official of the district said that jeweller Arvind Kumar was shot dead when he was returning home on his cycle after closing his shop on April 27 night.
The official denied that the criminals looted cash and gold from the jeweller. Police sources said that Arvind had a tiff with some persons four days back. Arvind’s village was about 6 km away from Patepur. Patepur is 59 km away from state capital Patna.
