Irate Buxar residents block road after man dies in accident

Buxar : Irate residents blocked the road near Buxar Sadar Hospital and paralysed movement of vehicles after Ram Bachan Singh of village Gogai was crushed to death by a speeding tractor on January 24, 2019. They burnt tyres on road raising slogans against Buxar district administration. They were demanding a government job and Rs 10 lakh compensation to the next kin of the deceased.

Ram Bachan Singh of village Gogai under Dhansoi police station in Buxar district lived in a rented house near Misi College under Buxar Town police station and was going to Chausa for the treatment of his son on January 24, 2019. When he reached near Central Jail, a speeding tractor knocked him down and escaped. He was admitted to Buxar Sadar Hospital where the doctors referred him to Varanasi but he succumbed to his injuries on way to Varanasi, UP.
