Ara : Additional District and Sessions Judge I, Ara, Ramesh Chandra Dwiwedi, on January 24, 2019, sentenced to 7 years’ rigorous imprisonment (RI) to Lav Kush Bhatt for sodomizing a ten year old boy in January 2018. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 on him.
Special Public Prosecutor Saroj Kumari said that Lav Kush Bhatta of village Charpokhari under the same police station in Bhojpur district lured a 10 year old boy of the village when he had gone to play on January 23, 2018, and took him to a dilapidated building at the village where he sodomized him. A named FIR was lodged with Charpokhari police station against Lav Kush Bhatt in this connection and police had brought the boy to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical check-up.
