Patna : Two unidentified bike borne criminals shot dead Station Manager of IndiGo Airline Rupesh Singh, 45, at the gate of Kusum Villa Apartment at Punchaichak under Shashtrinagar Police Station (PS), Patna, at 7 pm when he got down from his car car to open the gate as the guard was not present at that time. His wife had also reached near the gate to open it when the criminals fired 6 rounds on him. Senior police officials including SSP, Patna, reached the spot to make an on the spot inquiry into the incident
Rupesh Singh, who was Station Manager of IndiGo Airline at Patna Airport, had returned from Goa two days back. He was a native of Saran District. He lived in one of the flat of at Kusum Villa Apartment with his wife and two children. Rupseh’s father was in police service.
SHO, Shastrinagar PS, while confirming the incident said that police were trying their best to identify the assailants. He said that Rupseh Singh was shot at 7 pm.
