Patna : Indian women’s Squash team beat Malayasia 2-0 in the semi-finals on August 31, 2018, to enter the final at the 18th Asian Games for the second successive Asian Games. Joshna Chinappa stunned 8-time world champion Nicol David 12-10, 11-9, 6-11, 10-12, 11-9.

The women’s team comprised Joshna Chinappa, Dipika Pallikal Karthik, and Sunayna Kuruvilla. Dipika beat former World No.5 Low Wee Wern 11-2, 11-9, 11-7 in the second singles. India will play Hongkong in the final.

But, men’s defending champion India lost 0-2 to Hongkong in the semi-finals and settled for a Bronze Medal.
