Patna : India scored a competitive 279/7 in 50vers against West Indies (WI) in the 2nd ODI at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad, on August 11, 2019, night, with captain Virat Kohli scoring 120, his 42nd ODI century, with 14 fours and a six and Shreyas Iyer 71 in 68 balls with 5 fours and a six.
Kohli and Iyer added 125 runs for the 4th wicket. Kohli also added 74 runs with vice-captain Rohit Sharma ( opener0 for the 2nd wicket. Rohit scored 18 runs. Ravindra Jadeja remained unbeaten on 16 while remained not out on 3. Kedar Jadhav was run out for 16while BHuvaneshwar Kumar scored 1.
For WI, Carlos Brathwaite took 3.53 in 10 overs while Sheldon Cottrell, Jason Holder ( Captain), and Roston Chase took one wicket each.
