Patna : India made a decent start to their ICC Under-19 World Cup campaign by scoring 328/7 in 50 overs in the first match ( day/night) against Australia at Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, with Captain Prithvi Shaw leading from the front scoring 94. This was India’s highest total against Australia in ICC Under -19 World Cup. India, placed in Group B, won the toss and elected to bat first. Set a target of 329 to win the match, Australia were 112/2 after 26.3 overs.
