Patna : India were 308/4 at stumps on day 2 in their first innings in the second test against West Indies at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad, on October 13, 2018, with Ajinkya Rahane batting on 75 in 174 ball with 6 fours and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant batting on 85 in 120 ball with 10 fours and 2 sixes. Rahanae and Pant have so far added 146 run for the fifth wicket. India trail by 3 run.

Earlier, opener Prithvi Shaw batted superbly to score 70 in 53 ball with 11 fours and a six. Prithi added 61 run with Lokesh Rahul for the first wicket in which the latter’s contribution was just 4 in 25 ball. Captain Virat Kohli made 45 in 78 ball with 5 fours while Cheteshwar Pujara made 10. For West Indies, captain Jason Holder took 2/45.

Earlier, resuming at their overnight score of 297/7, West Indies were all out for 311 in their first innings in the first session with Roston Chase scoring 106 with 8 fours and a six, his 4th test century.
