Bagaha: Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) worth Rs.4 lakh kept in 29 big cartons and hundred of bottles of Nepali liquor were recovered from Kailashnagar locality under Bagaha Nagar Parishad in West Champaran district on Sunday night.

Pathakauli police led by  SHO Subash Mukhia along with his associates carried out raids at three houses on Sunday night. Bagaha SP Anand Kumar Singh said that three liquor  sellers Sankesia Devi, Purnima Devi and Rameshwar Bind were arrested and sent to Bagaha jail on Monday. The liquor racket was busted because of differences between two group of booze sellers. The kingpin of the  illegal liquor trade is absconding, sources said.
Meanwhile. Bagaha SP Anand kumar Singh and SDM, Bagaha, Dharmendar Kumar jointly held a meeting with  residents of Kailashnagar on Pathakauli police station premises and sought their support in enforcing prohibition .
