Huang upsets Pranoy to enter SF of All England Open Badminton

Patna : World Number 35 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings Huang Yuxiang, Cinha, upset World Number 10 H S Pranoy, India, in three-set thriller 20-22, 21-16, 23-21, night on late March 16, 2018, in the quarter-finals of All England Open 2018 Badmindon tournament at Birmingham, UK. Yuxiang will meet World Number 6 Lin Dan, China, in the semi-finals. In the second semi-finals, World Number 5 Son Wan Ho, South Korea, will play World Number 8 Shi Yuqui, China.

Women’s Section : In the women’s section, World Number 1 Tai Tzu Ying, Chinese Taipei, will meet World Number 8 Chen Yufei, China. World Number 3 P V Sindhu, India, will play World Number 2 Akanae Yamaguchi, Japan, in the other semi-finals.
