Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : Body of Rinky Devi, 35, wife of Phulkesh Mandal, a resident of quarter number 2,212 in Sector VIII of Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand state was found hanging from ceiling fan in her room on March 21, 2017. No one was present at her house when this incident took place. However, no suicide note was found in the room.
As pre statement of Phulkesh to police, who works in a private company, he left his house for work at about 9 am and after 3o minutes his mother went to a house in neighbourhood.Later, Rinky went to take bath and after coming out of the bathroom she went inside her room and locked her.
Later, when his mother returned home around 10.15 am, she kept knocking at Rinky’s door but there was no response. Later, neighbours were called and when they peeped inside from window, they found Rinky hanging from a ceiling fan with help of her dupatta. Immediately police was informed about the incident and they sent the body for post- mortem. In his statement, Phulkesh even told police that his wife was of late under depression and was even taking medicines on recommendation of doctors and showed prescription to police. Bokaro DSP Ajay Kumar stated that investigatio into the incident had begun.
