Siwan : Two persons were killed and six others were injured at village Pipra under Gautam Buddhanagar police station in Siwan district on March 21, 2017, morning in a land dispute in a family. The deceased were identified as Parmeshwar Singh, 64, and his son Birendra Singh, 25.

Of the six injured, three were referred to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) by the doctors at Siwan Sadar hospital, according to SHO, Gautam Buddhanagar police station, Lallan Kumar. The injured include Shivnath Singh and Mangal Singh, both brothers of deceased Parmeshwar Singh. Both are under treatment at Siwan Sadar hospital. Shivanath and Mangal were on one side while Parmeshar was on the other side, said the SHO adding during the fight sambhal and sticks were used by the rival sides.

The SHO said that an FIR has been lodged in this connection though no accused has been arrested immediately in view of the condition in the family. But, very soon the accused would be arrested, SHO Kumar said.
