Home Minister Shah condoles loss of lives due to collapse of pandal in Barmer

New Delhi : Union Home Minister Amit Shah has condoled the loss of lives due to collapse of a pandal in Barmer, Rajasthan. In a tweet, Shah, according to a PIB release, said, “Pained to know about the loss of lives due to collapse of a Pandaal in Barmer, Rajasthan. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. May the injured recover quickly.”

It may be mentioned here that 14 persons died and around 50 injured after a pandal collapsed due to rain and storm during a religious event on June 23, 2019, afternoon.
