Patna : Electing to bat after winning the toss, Pakistan posted 308/7 in 50 overs against South Africa (SA) in the 30th match of CWC at Lord’s, London, on June 23, 2019, evening, with Haris Sohail scoring 89 in 59 balls hitting 9 fours and 3 sixes Babar Azam scoring 69 in 80 balls with 7 fours.

Pakistan openers : Imam-ul Haq and Fakhar Zaman, scored 44 runs each adding 81 runs for the first wicket. Both fell to SA spinner Imran Tahir. Babr Azam and Sohail added 81 runs for the 4th wicket. Babar Azam fell to Andile Phehlukwayo making it 224/4. Sohail then added 71 runs with Imad Wasim (23) for the 5th wicket. Imad fell to fast bowler Lungi Ngidi making it 295/5.

For SA, Lungi Ngidi took 3/64 in 9 overs while Imran Tahir took 2/41 in 10 overs. Aidem Markram and Andile Phehlukwayo took one wicket each. Kagiso Rabada leaked away 65 runs in his 10 over without taking any wicket.
