Patna : World No 7 in Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings HE Bingjiao, 21, China, beat World No 3 P V Sindhu, 23, India, in a three-game thriller to enter the semi-finals of Fuzhou China Open 2018 on November 9, 2018.
Bingjiao, the 8th seed, defeated Sindhu, the third seed, 21-17, 17-21, 21-15 in 69 minutes in the quarter-finals at Fuzhou, China. Bingjiao won 59 rallies during the match while Sindhu won 53. Bingjiao won 5 consecutive points in the match to 4 by Sindhu. Bingjiao now leads Sindhu 8-5 head to head.
