Patna : Australia beat South Africa by 7 runs in the second ODI at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide, Australia, on November 9, 2018, to level the three-match ODI series 1-1. Chasing a target of 232, South Africa could score only 224/9 in 50 overs although captain Faf du Plessis made 47 in 65 balls with 3 fours and David Miller 51 in 71 balls with 3 fours and a six.
Aiden Markram was run out for 19 with 2 fours and a six while opener Reeza Hendricks made 16. All-rounder Dwaine Pretorious and Heinrich Klaasen scored 14 each.
