Ara : Bhojpur police arrested two miscreants : Tota Yadav alias Ashok Yadav, son of Ram Babu Yadav, and his brother Dukhit Yadav of village Piparhiya under Ara Muffassil police station on November 9, 2018, for allegedly demanding ‘Rangdari’ ( extortion amount) from a businessman. Later, police sent them to jail. A named FIR was lodged with Ara Muffassil police station against them and they were sent them to jail.
Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar said that Tota Yadav and his brother Dukhit Yadav of Piparhiya village under Ara Muffassil police station had demanded Rs 50,000 from a businessman Jitendra Sah, son of late Chhotan Sah of the same village, and when he refused, the miscreants snatched Rs 5,000 from him besides looting some cans of Mustard oil from his shop at pistol point and also fired in the air to terrorise the locals. The miscreants also threatened Jitendra Sah with dire consequences.
The SP said that on getting information, police swung into action and conducted raids at Piparahiya village and arrested Tota Yadav and Dukhit Yadav.
