Patna: A division bench of Patna high court comprising Acting chief justice Hemand Gupta and Justice Sudhir Kumar Singh  on January 19 expressed its concern over participation of school-going kids in Human Chain on January 21, a programme organized by the Nitish Kumar government to create awareness about prohibition. The court, not satisfied with the reply of the state government, directed for presence of director general of police (DGP) and Chief Secretary (CS) in the court on January 20. The hearing would take place again on Friday.

It may be mentioned here that on January 18 t00, the court had asked that under which law, the state government is blocking the movements of vehicles on NH and SH on January 21. The court is hearing a writ filed by Shashibhusan Pratap, an advocate, in this regard.
