Patna: Bihar Governor -cum- chancellor of universities Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday asked vice-chancellor of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University (KSDSU), Darbhanga, Dev Narain Jha, to resign immediately.
According to an order issued by Raj Bhawan here, Jha did not possess the minimum qualification of ten years’ experience as professor to become vice-chancellor. He was inexperienced. Jha has been asked to resign with immediate effect. If Jha does no resign immediately, it will considred he has resigned and the post of VC shall be deemed vacant, the Raj Bhavan release says.
