Patna : The office of Governor cum Chancellor of state universities has instituted ‘Chancellor Award ‘ with a view to developing standard of higher education and bringing in qualitative change in different universities of Bihar. The award has been instituted following directive from Bihar Governor Lalji Tandon.
The Governor’s Secretariat has initiated the process to frame Rules for the award. A brief of the draft Rules has already been sent to the Vice-Chancellors of different universities and the same would be discussed at the meeting of VCs scheduled for November 27, 2018, at Raj Bhavan.
The Chancellor Award would be given to the Best University, Best College, Best VC, Best Student, and Best Teacher etc.
