Patna: Bihar governor Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday advised the people to undergo regular health check-up to remain healthy. Inaugurating a health check-up camp organised at Rajendra Mandapam of Raj Bhavan under the aegis of Bihar Chapter of India Red Cross Society, the governor said that in the fast paced life one must remain healthy and tension free.

The governor also stressed on reguar health check-up of the government employes on the occasion. He asked the Indian Red Cross Society to hold health camps in rural areas too in the interest of poor and said such camps should be held twice a year on Raj Bhavan premises.

More than 550 Raj Bhavan employees and their family members were examined at the camp by top Patna doctors while 25 persons donated blood. The doctors who examined people at the health camp included Dr R N Singh, Dr Manju Gita Mishra, Dr Basant Singh, Dr Ajay Kumar, Dr B B Sinha, Dr Himanshu Kumar, Dr Alok Kumar, Dr Mukesh Kumar, Dr Saiyyad Mumtaz Karim, Dr Renu Kumari, Dr Jaya Kumari. Dr A A Hai and Dr D K rivastava were also present.
