Patna:The Bulandsahar gang rape was repeated at Hajipur in Vashali district, 25 km from the state capital of Bihar on Monday night. An Intermediate student was allegedly gangraped by five people in a Maruti car, according to an FIR lodged with Hajipur sadar police station in Vaishali district.
The FIR has been lodged by the victim’s’ brother who has named five persons of Dighi village near Hajipur as accused. Confirming the incident, Subodh Kumar Mishra, officer incharge of Hajipur Sadar police station, said one of the named accused Anil Rai has been arrested and the car used in the incident has also been found. Police are in search of four other accused: Harendra Rai, Sunil Rai, Sanjay Rai and Vikky Kumar, all of Dighi village. He said according to FIR, the girl was picked up on the national highway 77 near District teachers training Institute.
