Girl crushed to death by speeding truck in Buxar

Buxar : Neha Kumari, 15, daughter of Munna Kumar, was crushed to death near Idgah under Dumraon police station in Buxar district on July 9, 2018, late evening, by a speeding truck when she was returning home from market. The deceased was class VIII student at St. Joseph School.

Police seized the truck and brought the body over to Buxar Sadar Hospital though the truck driver escaped from the spot. The villagers blocked Buxar-Ara road and paralysing movement of vehicles on July 10, 2018, morning. They were demanding compensation to the next of kin of the deceased and arrest of the truck driver. The blockade was lifted after positive response from the police officers.
