Ara: A youth drowned in river Sone at Koelwar in Bhojpur district while another swam to safety on Sunday . The body of the youth is yet to be fished out. Seven youths from Ara had gone to Koelwar to have a dip in the Sone river. When all were preparing to enter into the river, two youths Preetam Kumar and Md Shahbaz alias Chintu entered into the river and started taking selfie from their mobiles but they could not balance themselves and were swept away flown by the current of the river. Md. Shahbaz swam to safety but Preetam Kumar drowned. A team of NDRF was pressed into operation but it also failed to fish out Preetam.
