Bokaro ( Jharkhand) : The ideology of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ was fostered with the efforts of school students who arranged and organised a pool lunch of their classes in Primary Wing at DPS Bokaro in Jharkhand on March 12, 2019, and the teachers were invited to the classes, which were beautifully decorated and well environed with the vibrant music and dance to mark the occasion.
The menu of the Pool lunch varied with different cuisines including chocolates, cakes, biscuits, sweets, fruits, dry fruits etc. The food was happily shared amongst the students.
Director and Principal of the school Dr Hemlata S Mohan opened the event by cutting the cake. She remarked that this event conveys the message to all that togetherness leads to happiness. She thanked all the teachers and the students for making the event grand and meaningful.
During the programme, Head Teacher and Vice Principal P Shailaja Jayakumar, Headmistress Sunita Bhardwaj along with the students and teachers joined in the fusion and festivity of flowers, food and music.
