Ara : Rs 50,000 was fraudulently drawn from accounts of Nand Lal Ojha of Kohada village under Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district by a fraud posing as bank officer. An FIR was lodged with Udwantnagar police station on December 23 evening but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.

Nand Lal Ojha said that he had accounts in Punjab National Bank branch at Udwantnagar and State Bank of India branch at Ara. On December 23, an unidentified person called him saying he was a Bank Officer and asked for pin code of his ATM cards and he gave all the details to him in innocence. When a message of drawal of money from both the banks came on his mobile, he smelt rat. When he inquired about it, he found was cheated.
