Four bike lifters arrested in Bhojpur

Ara : Bhojpur police arrested four bike lifters along with a countrymade pistol and two life cartridges on February 14  evening. Police also seized two motorcycles and mobiles from their possession.

A named FIR was lodged with Udwantnagar police station in this regard. Later, the arrested criminals were forwarded to Ara jail. They ere identified as Manu Kumar, son of Brijnandan Singh of Lahthan village under Agiaw Bazaar police station, Atul Bihari Pandey, son of Jitendra Pandey of Semaria village under Ara Muffassil Police Station, Sautam Kumar, son of Jai Mangal Singh of Maharaja Hala locality under Nawada Police Station in Bhojpur district, and Sonu Kumar, son of Jitendra Singh of Birpur village under Murar police station in Buxar district.

SHO, Udwantnagar police station, said that the criminals were trying to lift a motorcycle from the house of Satyanarayan Singh at Mahavirganj, South Ekauna under Udwantnagar police station, on February 14 when some passersby noticed and raised slogans. Hearing cries, the people caught all of them and handed them over to police.
