Ara : Three teenage girls were kidnapped from different places in Bhojpur district in the last 24 hours. FIRs were lodged with police stations concerned but police have failed to recover any of them so far.

Reena Kumari (name changed) of Ayar village under Ayar police station was kidnapped by a man on way to her school with a view to marry her on February 15. Her parents searched her but when they failed to locate her, her father lodged a named FIR with Ayar police station on February 16 against Sonu Kumar, a medical shop owner at Lal Bihari Singh ke Tola, and Ganesh Kumar, a High School teacher.

In another incident, Asha Kumari (name changed) was kidnapped from a market near Akhgaon village under Sandesh police station when she had gone to the market to make Aadhar card. An FIR has been lodged with Sandesh police station regarding kidnapping of the girl on February 15 but police are yet to recover her.

Yet in another incident, a teenage girl Nargish (name changed) was kidnapped from Gola Mohalla under Town police station, Ara, on February 15 evening. An FIR has been lodged with Town police station in this connection. Love affair is said to be the cause behind all these kidnappings.
