Four arrested with firearms in Bhojpur

Ara: Kaimur police seized firesarms and live cartridges from a Scorpio on Tuesday and arrested four persons in this regard.

Kaimur SP Harpreet Kaur said she was informed that some firearms are being taken to some place. She immediately ordered vehicle checking and searched a Scorpio near Collectorate gate under Mohania police station on Tuesday and seized one 9mm pistol, two rifles, 21 live cartridges of .315 bore and 12 live cartridges of 9mm pistol, a dagger, Scorpio vehicle and also arrested four persons.

Raid: Bhjpur police, on a tip off, raided houses of Ram Binay Chaudhary and Shiv Binay Chaudhary, sons of Jagdish Chaudhary of village Bardiha village under Charpokhari police station, and  seized 80 litre of mahua on Tuesday.The police also arrested Arbind Singh, son of Balmiki Singh, with 5 bottles of countrymade liquor from Kahadav Chaturbhuj village under Sahar police station on Tuesday and forwarded him to Ara jail.

Suicide : A youth committed suicide at village Bhelai under Udwantnagar police stationin Bhojpur district on Monday night. The police brought the body to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on Tuesday. SHO Udwantnagar police station Rajiv Kumar Said that Rajiv Kumar Singh, son of Satyanarain Singh, committed suicide by hanging himself  from the ceiling of his house at Bhelai village. An FIR has been lodged with Udwantnagar police station on the statement of deceased’s wife Roma Devi. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained.
