Muzaffarpur: Criminals fired indiscriminately at a cloth shop at Naya Chowk under Kanti police station in Muzaffarpur district on November 26 evening killing a former ward councillor Manoj Sahni, who was sitting at the shop, on the spot and injuring cloth merchant Arvind Albela. Apparently, the target of the criminals was Manoj Sahni as they had lobbed bomb at him even on November 24, 2016, when he was returning home. Sahni, who had a narrow escape, had lodged a complaint with police in this connection. Albela was rushed to a private hospital and is under treatment. Bullet had hit Albela in the stomach.
