Ara: A youth threw acid on Monu Pandey, 20, son of Raj Narain Pandey, near Gyanpur Semaria village under Barhara police station on November 26 evening when he was returning home at Ara. Monu sustained burn injury and was admitted to Ara Sadar Hospital where doctor said that his condition was serious. Anjani Tiwari, district president Brahman Mahasabha, has expressed his concern over the incident and demanded immediate arrest of the accused otherwise he would be forced to launch an aggressive agitation.
