Bokaro  (Jharkhand) : Five students of DPS Bokaro have cleared the Science Maths Talent Examination (SMTE) conducted by DPS Society in Association with Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). More than 21,000 students from across the country had appeared at the exam and only 120 students were selected for the final stage in the country of which 5 students are from DPS Bokaro.

The students, who qualified for the final stage of the exam, are : Harsh Rai, Rohit Verma, Anshu Priya, Saksham Kumar, and Harsh Bihany. They were a cash prize of Rs 1000 and a certificate each. All the five students of the school were felicitated on September 4, 2019, at a Special Assembly convened at the campus. The results of this examination were declared recently.

Principal, DPS Bokaro, A S Gangwar, congratulated the five students and said, “The success achieved is the result of dedication and devotion of the students. We believe this journey will continue with glory and pride.”
