Patna : Electing to bat after winning the toss, Australia were 15/1 in 5 overs in their first innings in 4th Ashes against England at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, UK, on September 4, 2019. Australia lost their first wicket that of opener David Warner with only 1 run on board. Warner fell to fast bowler Stuard Broad for zero. Broad has taken Warner’s wicket for the fifth time in the series. Opener Marcus Harris is batting on 8 while Marnus Labuschagne is batting on 5.

Steven Smith is back in the Australian side while Usman Khwaja has been dropped. Fast Bowler Mitchell Starc has replaced fellow fast bowler James Pattinson.

England, on the other hand, have brought in Craig Overton dropping Chris Woakes. Joe Denly will open the innings with Rory Burns. Jason Roy will bat at N0 4.
