Ara: Five buffalos died due to electrocution at village Andhair under Sahar police station in Bhojpur district on Sunday due to carelessness of officials of the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL). Irate villagers blocked Ara-Sahar police station with the dead buffalos, burnt tyres on the road and paralyzed movement of vehicles. They were demanding compensation to the owners of the buffalos. The blockade was continuing till the time of filing this report.
