Buxar : A case of selling of a stolen vehicle at Rs 6 lakh after preparing forge papers has come to light. A named FIR was lodged with Buxar Town police station in this connection on September 3, 2018, against three persons : Md Azmullah and Md Haidar Khan of Meerut, and Kaushlendra Kumar of Danapur in Patna district but no arrest has so far been made in this regard.

SHO, Buxar Town police station, Dayanand Singh, said that Tej Narayan Pathak of Maruti Colony under Buxar Muffassil police station in Buxar district dealt with a local for buying a car at Rs 6 lakh and paid Rs 5.80 lakh. When he demanded No Objection Certificate (NOC), the seller started shuffling on one pretext or the other that raised suspicion. PathakĀ  searched about the vehicle on the internet and was shocked to know that he had purchased a stolen vehicle.
