FIR lodged against 10 persons for alleged misappropriation of Govt. fund

Ara : Deputy Municipal Commissioner, Ara Municipal Corporation (AMC), Rajesh Kumar, on the direction of Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, on July 22, 2019, lodged a named FIR with Nawada police station,  Ara, against 10 persons in connection with alleged embezzlement of government fund.

The FIR was lodged against Daroga Ram, Aas Mohammad, Ankush Kumar, Guddu Ram, Indrasana Devi, Sonia Devi, Tetara Devi, Sanjay Kumar of Jawahar Tola, Gauri Devi and Meen Devi of Karman Tola under Nawada police station.

Rajesh Kumar said that the AMC had given Rs 7,500 each to the people of different wards as first installment for the construction of lavatories but these 10 persons did not constructed lavatories despite several warning even as they had received the first installment of the fund for the purpose.
