Man shot dead at Bhojpur village

Ara : Four armed miscreants shot dead Sushil Tiwari, 35, son of a retired Havildar  Chakleshwar Tiwari in a garden at village Farhada under Barhara police station in Bhojpur district on July 21, 2019, late evening.

Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Police also recovered a Mobile phone, Aadhar Card, and a Diary from the spot. The deceased was a resident of village Mahudahi under Barhara police station. The reason behind the incident is still to be ascertained. An FIR has been lodged with Barhara police station in this connection but police are yet to make any breakthrough in the case though they conducting raids to arrest the miscreants. Tension prevails in and around the area following the incident.

SHO, Sinha police station, said that Sushil Tiwari along with his elder brother Sunil Tiwari was sitting in the garden of Bideshwar Yadav at village Farhada under Barahara police station when four armed miscreants reached there and shot Sushil Tiwari dead after making his elder brother captive. Seeing this, the elder brother fainted. Later, the miscreants fired in the air several rounds to unleash terror in the area and escaped. Police reached the spot after two hours on the information of villagers that caused great resentment among the villagers. The SHO said that police would take out printout call details of the Mobile phone.
