Buxar : A named FIR has been lodged with Women’s police station on July 19, 2019, against ten persons on the direction of Buxar SP after a married woman Neha Parveen of Nalband Toli under Buxar Town police station appeared before him the same day and alleged that her husband tortured her and married another woman after getting her aborted and later threw her out of the house. After institution of FIR, police are investigating the matter though no arrest has so far been made in this connection.
SHO, Women’s police station, Sushila Devi said that Neha Parveen and a technician in the Indian railway Pankaj Dubey, son of late Vijay Dubey, lived in Nalband Toli under Buxar Town police station. They came fell in love and later they tied knot in a court at Patna in 2014. After their marriage, Neha’s family members snapped their relation with her. After spending some time with her, Pankaj Dubey also deserted her. She moved the court and on the direction of the court an FIR was lodged Women’s police station in this connection.
Pankaj Dubey, after institution of FIR, gave an undertaking in the court stating that he would accept Neha Parveen as his wife and not torture her further. Meanwhile, she became pregnant with him but he administered some medicine to her for abortion and married another woman. When she came to know about his second marriage, she protested. At this, Pankaj Dubey thrashed her and also snatched her gold ‘mangalsutra’ and also threatened her with dire consequences.
Neha Parveen complainedto the Buxar SP and a named FIR was lodged with Women’s police station on the direction of the SP against ten persons including Pankaj Dubey, his brother-in-law Janardan Pathak, his wife and daughter.
