Patna : Roger Federer, Switzerland, returned to Number 1 position in the ATP rankings released on February 19, 2018, pushing Rafael Nadal, 31, Spain, to Number 2 position in the rankings. Federer has reclaimed the Number 1 position after a gap of over five years becoming the oldest male tennis player to be ranked Number 1 in the ATP rankings at the age of 36 years and 166 days.

Federer, who on February 18, 2018, won the Rotterdam ATP title defeating Grigor Dimitrov, Bulgaria, his 97th career title, has 10,105 points while Nadal has 9,760 points. Marin Cilic, 20, Croatia, is 3rd with 4,960 points while Grigor Dimitrov, 26, is Number 4 with 4,635 points. Alexander Zverev, 20, is Number 5 with 4,450 points. Dominic Thiem, 24, Austria, is Number 6 with 4,220 points  points while David Goffin, 27, Belgium, is Number 7 with 3,280 points and Jack Sock, 27, USA, is Number 8 with 2,880 points.

Former World Number 1 Novak Djokovics, 30, Serbia, is ranked Number 14 with 2,470 points while another former World Number 1 Andy Murrau, 30, UK, is ranked Number 20 with  1,960 points.

Yuki Bhambri, 25, India, is ranked 101 with 546 points while Ramkumar Ramnathan, 23, India, is ranked 140 with 405 points. Sumit Nagal, 20, India, is ranked 216 with 245 points.
